Good old Fletcher appearing on Leno to be in a sketch about Kentucky. He thinks it's going to improve our image?? He's not even a sit-down guest. They're going to stand him up and feed him to the wolves and make Kentucky look even stupider.
Stupid, stupid, stupid.
These are the lines from the article I noted.
Calling it an opportunity to improve the state's image, Gov. Ernie Fletcher will appear on "The Tonight Show" with Jay Leno, who earlier this month suggested a motto for the state could be "Kentucky: Got Teeth?"
Fletcher is scheduled to have a standing appearance on the show, but is not going to be a sit-down guest, Groves said. A spokesperson for Leno's show in California confirmed that and said Fletcher would be part of a comedy skit.
"This is an opportunity to reach a large audience to let them know about what Kentucky's doing to promote our great state," Fletcher said Monday in a statement. "Hopefully, with Jay Leno's humor we can start the effort to improve Kentucky's image."
He's not going to be there long enough to promote our image!! He'll be there long enough to give the nation even more of a laugh at stupid Kentucky and then be sent away! Stupid, stupid, man. He just wants to be on national television! Arrgh.
There are some smart people in this state, I swear. And in this town! Look at Johnny Depp!! He came from Owensboro and he didn't have to turn out...stupid! Jon Brennan from the Real World... now that was just stupid. No offense to anyone on my list and/or in Owensboro who know him personally. I just didn't like him and didn't see the hype. I don't like "cowboys" anyway. They get under my skin and make me want to start harming people.
Gah. Kentucky isn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be, I swear. It's the stereotypes that mess things up. And none of them are true! I mean, stereotypes come from truths but the point is, there's nothing bad in Kentucky that isn't bad somewhere else! We're not the only state with trailer parks. I see dirtier ones going through Indiana. We're not the only state with poor white trash. They're very diverse, I'm sure. And we aren't the only state with rednecks!
I'll shut up now.
